Held over five days in the beautiful Macedon Ranges, the Complete Flute is delighted to welcome back Emerita Professor Leone Buyse, who will join the Complete Flute Faculty for this special one-week event in 2024. Leone Buyse has had a stellar orchestral career, formerly Principal Flute with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and, until very recently, was Mullen Professor of Flute at the Prestigious Shepherd School of Music, Rice University. Her students have won jobs in orchestras worldwide or have gone on to distinguished careers in teaching and other areas of music, and we are delighted that Professor Buyse will be sharing her incredible wealth of experience and knowledge with us at the course.

Alexander Technique and sessions with Penny McDonald
Investment Option 1:Performer $1250.00 (special early bird fee $1000.00 if paid by July 1). Includes playing in a masterclass with Leone Buyse as well as masterclasses with other faculty members. Participation in all other group classes/ensembles (e.g., Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais Method). Fee includes lunch/dinner.
Option 2: Observer $600 (special early bird fee $480.00 if paid by July 1). Observe all classes with Leone Buyse and other faculty members. Participate in group classes with the option to participate in ensembles. Option 3: Observer one day $120.00. Our daily rate for those who would like to come for a day or days (less than the full 5 days). Participate in group classes. Lunch and dinner provided.
*Please note, we can accept a maximum of 20 participants for the performer option.
If you would like to avoid the commute from Melbourne (about 45mins from the CBD) there are many local Air B&B options in the Macedon Ranges, or we can assist you with in making a motel booking at the nearby Black Forest Motel...please let us know if you are interested by ticking the relevant box on the registration page (please note that the motel costs are in addition to the course fee).
